So I've just checked out of my hostel and am preparing to kill time until I leave for Stockholm tonight. I have to say, my stay in Paris hasn't been the highlight of my trip. It's a nice enough place, but it makes me glad I'm visiting Nottingham now, instead of Lyon and Nice.
Fun Pairs fact: if you see some liquid in the street, watch out! Half of the time it's water coming up from the sewer drains and the other half, it's urine. Paris is quite the odorous city, truth be told.
Yesterday I did manage to fulfill one European dream. As cheesy as it sounds, I totally wanted to have a picnic in a Parisian park with a bottle of rosè, a freshly-baked baguette, and some brie. I totally got to do that and have fun little yogurt in glass jars, too!
Now, just to make a couple of you jealous, yesterday I also walked around Pigalle with Thomas and his roommate Hanna (she's from the UK and Canada) and we walked by the Moulin Rouge and the cafè where Amèlie worked! Take that, someone who cares! And I also had some more awesome crèpes, so it was a pretty good trip to that area of the city.
Another fun fact about Hanna is that she and I both know Lawrence! She actually took some circus classes with him in Toronto, so craziness of the small world!
I have to say, I'm quite excited for Sweden (and the Swedish boys!), so I'm hoping my expectations aren't totally trod upon, like they were in Paris.

I am super jealous of all of the above! Well, except the urine, that's kinda gross. I am most jealous of the crepe though...mmmmmmm crepes!
