We Left the Hotel this am, a normal when getting ready to leave anywhere there's confusion,  Wheres that DID you see this, But all was found and properly stowed.  They went to the post office and mailed all our packages of Souvenirs It would have cost to  much to have another carry on especially with all the books they bought and glass items.   Then we climbed into our Taxi (go figure England has Mercedes for Taxis)  to Heathrow.  After finally getting the checked bags all situated and the right weight we made our way to the Terminal, First Security,  I beeped  :)  was just my Med bracelet they figured out.  Debbi's bag got tagged, we couldn't figure out why, but as they went through it was because she forgot the tiny little bottle of Fabreeze go firgure.  SO off we went in search of our correct Gate.

Gotta Love Heathrow and the economy the only way to get to the Gates was go through  ALL the stores,  Duty free first, then of course  Harrods and all the glitzy cosmetic ones.  FINALLY made it to the gate as we started to Board.  PLUS Heathrow is CONFUSING.  they'll have a sign for Terminal 28 so you follow.  THEN the next sign will be terminal 40 on up.  WHERE is 28,  YOU are supposed to be savey and know YOU need to make that left at Harrods and walk through the store to get to the other side of the terminal to get to the hallway that leads from Terminal 23 to 30,  OK,  WE are not all from here.  Little more signege please.

Found our seats no problem I had window this time just a little trouble finding a rack for my suitcase, but didn't have to go to the other side of the plane in the back to find one this time.   Nice  plane 777,  We each had our own TV to watch movies  or  television shows and listen to music.  The Flight was 9 hours and left at 1:18pm England time which is  7:18 am Chicago.  Flight was good  little turbulence at first but nothing later.  View was  gorgeous  went up through England  over the Isle of Man  that right between Ireland and Scotland. South of Greenland but didn't see it.  Over Nova Scotia  I believe through Quebec and Toronto  into Michigan and home. I haven't been on many planes.  On three to Miami and home. then on three back home from St. Louis.  Wasn't really nervous, a little at take off on way to Europe but not now.
I have included in these photo's not just beautiful scenery but the the first movies are of our Take off and the last of our landing.  ENJOY.

Ride was great, Attendants were excellent  right there when you needed them if you needed them, Food was fantastic for Airplane food.  When the plane landed we all relaxed  playing a grandma routine being the last one off, which makes sense  NO traffic, Less People less jumble. THEN made our way into O'hare to Immigration.  I Know I'm and American  but we still need to go through when your coming back into the states.  Didn't take us that long to get through Immigration and Customs (strangely it took us LONGER to get through Immigration then Custom's  That was just hand them a piece of paper if you had food and off you went, MMM makes you wonder, Security???) .  Jim had just pulled up as I walked out so in I went and off we went.  Danny Picked the rest up and we all headed to Olive Garden in Schaumburg where our Adventure Started and met my dad  there for a welcome home dinner.

Now will jet lag hit   Stay tuned.
