Bitten already!!!

Well here I am arrived safe and sound in Thailand.
First little disaster happened at passport control, the people on the plane forgot to tell me that I had to fill out an entry form so I queued up for 30 minutes only to be whisked to an office (how scared was I!!!) to fill out a form. Then got back in the queue all the time watching my lonely little bag (ok big bag!) going around on the conveyor belt thinking any minute now they will blow it up!
Got to the hotel, second disaster Internet not working!!! Fell asleep about ten only to wake up two hours later; finally getting off to sleep about 3:30.
Breakfast was interesting, yes Dad there was rice and crab sticks??? So I had toast and melon plus a gallon of water!! Go picked up at the hotel by the driver at 9:00 who didn;t speak a word of English (and of course I know no Thai) so that was a quiet three hour journey.
Got to the centre at 12:00 just when everyone was eating, I felt such a pillock walking through them all with my huge suitcase. Fortunately Sue had a big as big as mine when she arrived so I didn't feel to bad.
Paw give me a tour of the centre, apart from Gibbon island there are about 200 primates all with their own personalities, some don't like women (obviously the gay ones), some don't like Asians either, weird or what!!! There is also a lion, 13 bears, two otters a horn bill, four elephants a horse, seven dogs and a cat...think that's it.
Helped with the afternoon food preparations and feeding, one of the little blighter's grabbed me and he looked so Sweet as well. Been bitten by something three times also - excellent
Am properly on the rota tomorrow, am cleaning out the water buckets whatever that means!! At least I'm not on elephant duty can you imagine the elephant poo!!! Will keep you posted
