Kinsale is an adorable little harbor town with a very interesting history and purpose.

To learn all about the history of Kinsale, we took Don and Barry's Historical walking Tour, where Don, a cute little old man who knows everything (and everyone) in town tells you everything you'd ever need to know about Kinsale.

Right after this tour, we departed for the Scilly Walk (pronounced Silly), which is a lovely 45 minute walk away from the Harbor and toward Charles Fort, a great site with a beautiful view of Kinsale.

To treat ourselves after the nice walk, we did a true Irish afternoon tea at the Perryville Garden Tea Room where we had "tea for two," including a three tiered platter of tea sandwiches, scones, and cakes.  I am not exaggerating-- these were some of the most beautifully delicious sweet treats of my LIFE! Sooooo good.  If you are in Kinsale, you must go here.

Another must eat: Fishy Fishy Cafe. Trust me.
