Excellent flight to KL with Malaysia airways..I always love warm towels and my own TV..cant get any better than that.
I managed to get a few hours sleep on the plane, but was still totally exhausted when I arrived at KLIA Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
I was shocked to see a train in the airport and then realised I was supposed to be on it to get to the arrival hall.

The journey from KLIA to KL Sentral takes 28 minutes by express train and cost Rm35..the land is quite green and familiar and unfamilar trees dotted the lanscape and I noticed what looke like Palm tree fields scattered about, where dense palm trees have been planted.

First stop at Sentra KL was McDonalds for a hash brown Rm2(I havent seen McD brekkie for a long time)..no rest as I head straight to India High commission to log my visa application. The location of the embassy has baffled me for a while because I cant find it on any maps that make sense and can not find how to get there other than taxi..now I realise why.
India High Commission located off Jalan Duta high way is in the middle of no where. I took a pre-paid taxi from a taxi counter and had to pay Rm18..the counter staff told me it was 30 mins away, but my AC taxi made it in 5..think I was ripped off in my first hour here.

arriving there at 8.30 am there were already 20 people ahead of me at the gate and thought I had a secret access pass as I jumped the queue and went through the electronic gate (to go the loo).

This embassy had over 100 people waiting and is all done by number tickets and moves really slowly. But, it only takes 3 days for foreigners to collect! so should be able to collect on thursday.
Taking a taxi, I travelled to Bukit Bintang to find The Travellers Palm Lodge.. I had drawn a small map and knew it was near KFC so that was my first stop.
This area is mainly for high shops like Gucci, I did find a Top Shop but the prices were equivalent to UK price.
Best shopping here is BB Plaza, this has regular price shops..Loads of chinese food available in this area and all the restaurants put there tables going out into the road. I had duck and rice for Rm4.

Travellers Palm Lodge - very comfy, I slept for over 12 hours in my AC private room for Rm50. this is a total chill out place, huge sofas in the lounge.

I am now staying at Wheelers Guest House in China town, much cheaper here I have a double room (no AC) for Rm28 (usually Rm20 for single room, but quite busy here and all gone) and I am right in middle of shopping area, with Internet in the hostel.

Petronas Twin Towers..yesterday I only managed to glimpse one tower everywhere I went and got lost trying to get to the city centre (KLCC). But today I took the monorail from Bukit Bintang (Rm1.20) and changed at Nana to land straight in KLCC Suria shopping Mall.
The twin towers are part of the mall! Everyone says that you must get here early because all the tickets are free and go fast, but I arrived at 11.30 and picked up a ticket for a tour at 2.15. they only have 1300 tickets a day to go up to the level 41 Sky Bridge.

The view is good, but the sky is very smoggy here so grey all the time. The lift to get to the bridge is high speed and goes up 41 floors in less than 20 seconds (ear popping).

Malaysians seems to really like their food, so much to choose from chinese, indian, malay, japanese, korean. There is also a lot of chocolate, sweets - so its better than Thailand that way.
They also have Pepsi Max, which is a huge blessing for me..I have heard that Cherry Coke is here but havent found it yet.

Tomorrow I am heading to KLCC aquarium and will try to find a cinema
