Where I stayed
Three countries border the Falls, Brazil, Argentina & Paraguay. From the Brazilian side is the best viewing point & on the Argentinian side you can get up close & personal.
What an amazing site - I took loads of photos so understand if you just zoom through them, you'll probably think they all look the same - its so hard to capture the magic that is Iguassu on camera but I gave it a good go. We ventured onto a walkway right over the Falls where you just get absolutely soaked, it was so much fun, just have to watch the camera doesnt get too fogged up
The next day went to the Argentinian side, got another stamp in the passport, it was only about an hour trip to the National Park where we then took a truck ride down to the waters edge to begin out speedboat ride. The boat goes right up to the falls, you basically have to put your togs on with the lifejacket and get soaked yet again, unfortunately the boat ride wasnt that long, probably cos it was so busy.
Wouldnt want to be here in the height of peak season, so many people about - we were lucky as there'd been rain the last few nights and the river was pretty full. You have to be lucky, when there's too much water there's a lot of spray so its hard to get the good photos, & if there's not a lot of water the Falls don't look as impressive, we got it just right.
After the speedboat ride we walked through the park on the tracks that go right over the Falls, it was so amazing, the highlight being Devils Throat, the last couple of photos, i couldnt take too many as my camera was getting wet.
Absolutely a highlight of the trip & so got to see these amazing Falls - hope you enjoy the photos.
