What a day it has been making our way over to Boise. On waking this morning, we had hoped that we would be able to do some hiking in Sun Valley. Well, the weather certainly put paid to that! The snow was coming down and it was whiteout most of the time. Of course, with the snow was also the cold! Well, we have certainly had the extremes of weather from the heat of Death Valley to the cold of Idaho!
Sun Valley - for the rich and famous - like I said before, you haven't guessed yet, have you. Yep, we felt completely at home! Sun Valley Resort frequented by the likes of Schwarzenegger (hmmmm spelling), Lucille Ball (when she was alive of course), Hemmingway, Robert Kennedy, etc etc etc and now Madame Judith Clear and Baroness von Challinor! Except, we didn't get our pikkies taken to be put up on the wall in the hotel. I wonder why they didn't rush to do it!
Anyway, via Stanley over the Sawtooth Mountains and down to Boise where we are at present.
Tomorrow we move on to Oregon. Hopefully the snow has left us now and we are headed into some sunshine.
