Took Jacq to the airport this morning - what a sad time. It has been a great week together and we look forward to seeing her again. We have had much fun together.
Jude and I then headed back into Vegas to have a look at a couple more hotels that we had wanted to see but had not managed to do so previously. Also, we had to play the tables just because it was Vegas! So much for that idea. Money goneski!
Then it was on the road again as we made our way towards Alburquerque (I don't think that spelling is right!) Went over the Hoover Dam and stopped for a quick sticky beek. What a structure! They are building a bridge that is going to be quite spectacular. An interesting security system they have in operation too, worthy of note. Traffic is banked up for miles because of security. You figure when you get to the security check point, because of the immense delay, you are going to be searched thoroughly, questioned, etc etc. Well, as you drive up to the checkpoint....they wave you through! Not a question, not a look inside the vehicle - zip! I wonder if the same situation applies if you are ethnic looking!
