Sequoia National Park

Never before have we seen such majesty in trees! The Sequoias in Grand Sequoia National Park are just too majestic and awesome to describe. What a place. There are some trees there that are more than 2000 years old! As we walked amongst these giants we found that we were both dumbstruck with amazement and wonder. And hearing stories of how, in the early days, logging took place, we felt so sad that we, man, could do something so terrible as to even contemplate cutting down these fantastic giants. It was absolutely great. Highly recommend anyone to visit this park and can't wait to show some pikkies of these trees.

Actually whilst on the subject, it seems I will probably will not be able to show any pikkies on this travel blog - the thing now in the States is very different to last time we were here - there is NO access for uploading anything. It is hard enough getting access, period! Everything is wireless so there is an assumption everyone has their own laptop. Occasionally we come across accommodation that may have the internet available for guest usage and then, no facilities for uploading from USB. Bummer.
