Sunday - Yosemite and Kings Canyon

Kings Canyon - nothing prepared us for the beauty of this place and again, we were warned to ensure that our air conditioning was turned off. Wow! So high and so majestic this National Park is just so awesome. Unlike what one expects with mountains, ie green mountains with high trees, etc, when you go to various overlooks all you see are these huge, granite monoliths as far as the eye can see. Quite amazing. If this is what is awaiting us, we are in for a real treat.
