This morning I made the 30 minute drive to Butchart Gardens which is situated just out of the city and back towards the airport. The gardens were beautiful, especially some of the autumn colours that were on display. After an hour or so at the gardens, I stopped at the Victoria Butterfly Gardens just down the road. Although the gardens were fairly small, I probably spent about 45 mins to an hour there taking photos. The setting was lovely. There was a pond with some large fish and some waterfalls. There were also some birds in the gardens including a couple of flamingos and a parrot.
