Rob took the day off of work today, so we drove to Banff National Park, which is about 130km from Calgary. We started the day with a stop at the Banff visitor Centre. We then drove on 40 mins to Lake Louise, which is one of the most photographed places in the park. It was very beautiful, but packed with people.
We then drove back to the town of Banff and stopped at the Bow Falls, before driving on to the Banff Gondola. The views from the top of Mount Sulphur were spectacular. And There is a long boardwalk, where you can take in lots of views of the Rockies. Well worth a visit.
