Today went better, but still a tad stressful as my schedule was changed.  My boss Catherine was in town today and she read them the riot act as all changes should go through her and she should communicate them to me as we can communicate and sometimes it's a little ify with the non-native speakers.  I really should learn some Chinese!  For M-T my teaching time is actually less, but on Fri they've added a 2 hour activity block.  I do not wish to supervising 120 students (that's about how many I have now as there are 3 classes instead of 2) by myself nor do I wish to be responsble for coming up with those activities to keep the darlings busy.   I don't mind be on the team, but not really interested in running the whole show at this point.  Sooooo, we'll see how that goes.

My teaching aides and I went shopping after the last class of the day.  Tomorrow, we work on food the advertisement

.  We'll probably do that for the rest of the week, but I needed some props.  No fun to have to rely on my chalkboard drawings.  The shopping was a fun trip as we needed such a small amount of each item that it caused a stir.  There were 7 folks helping us out.

The downside of the new schedule is that I have to go back to school in the afternoon.  I see each group for 40 minutes.  Another downer is that I'm the only American teacher at this school.  All the others are working with the younger students.  It's not terrible or anything like that, just kind of out there the only non-Chinese face in the crowd.  No one to converse with about the craziness of the place...maybe you all will be my outlet.   Can you handle it?
