Set against the Julian Alps, this picture perfect alpine town is home to one of Slovenias most beautiful features: Lake Bled. This mountain feed lake is pristine in color and afloat out in the middle is a church on an island only accessible by row boat. Overlooking this lake is Castle Bled a Medievil Castle with old world charm. Sadie and I adventured around the lake and up to the castle it was a perfect setting for a great day out.

You guys are doing a great job with the blog. Love the pictures, was the Monk Benedictine Beth? How was the ale? Have you tried to learn any of he languages at the sites you've been visiting? Stay safe and healthy!

The monk was Fransiscan unfortunatly, the ale was good it was the best in Germany though. I have been picking up tidbits here and there, my german is the best so far. Anyway cold free so far, knock on wood.
