We're bummin'.  This is our last full day at the Bay Shore Inn, where we've had a wonderful time.  This will probably be our choice of lodging for every return trip to Sturgeon Bay.  We started with another early, casual breakfast in the condo for everyone, followed by lounging and play-time until Collin's first name.

After nap time is was off to the POOL!  This was Collin's first pool experience and I think it's safe to say he'll be happy to start swim lessons ASAP.  For lunch we took a picnic under a tree down by the beach.  The weather was amazing to say the least.  Perfect 72ish degrees with no humidity what so ever and a cloudless blue sky.  Could not have been any better.  After lunch, Collin took his second nap which gave me a chance to jump in the lake.  In June, the water from Lake Michigan and Green Bay is still a bit on the chilly side to say the least, but I wasn't going home without saying I took a plunge.  It was indeed chilly, but not as cold as I expected.  Given the opportunity, I would have taken a good long swim, but it wasn't in the cards.

After nap two, it was off to downtown S.B. again for coffee and perusing the shops on Jefferson St.  In and out of one after another with Collin in his stroller until it was time for his usual early dinner.  But this time it was truly special... a deep rooted Door County specialty... The Fish Boil.  Normally catering to tourists, these are usually held on Fridays and Saturdays with lots of pageantry & fireworks of huge boiling cauldrons atop blazing wood fires climaxing with the boil-over causing the combustible, cook-off byproducts to cascade down onto the fire resulting in the type of scene usually reserved for a southern thanksgiving turkey deep-fry gone horribly wrong.  We would get none of that since it's only Thursday and we're going to a spot frequented mostly by locals where they boil on gas fired burners and skim the "froth" before it boils over... boring, but every bit as tasty!

Tomorrow is checkout and we'll be on our way to Ludington Michigan.  Did I say Michigan??  Yes I did... and directly from Wisconsin.  Tune in tomorrow for the details!
