Well the last couple of days have really felt like a holiday - imagine this. A canyon which has been classified as the 3rd largest in the world and in the middle of this amzing place, there is a camping ground with an Olympic size pool which has Hot Spring water pumped directly into it - so as the sunsets and the temperature drops you submerge yourself into waters which stay at a constant 28 degrees - hmmm. Did not really want to leave the site but guess we had to move on!

The canyon where we were at is known as Fish River Canyon and there is 95km trail that you can hike over 3 days which is meant to be spectacular - something defiantly worth coming back for! Any interested parties??? Any excuse really to come back.

Have been pretty busy the last couple of days, spent time in Kolkompe which is an old Diamond Mining town in the 1900's - which has now been deserted and the sand dunes have over taken - very Sovereign Hill (for the Melbourne people) but very interesting all. Photos should be pretty good - should have taken B&W though

We have done approx 4500km so far and have crossed over about 4 countries so racking up the stamps in the old passport. Looking forward to some independent travel and have spent nights-organising time in Morocco and Egypt. One of the drivers on the trip has some "contacts" in Egypt and Jordan who "will look after me" - so either I am going to end up in jail or have a great time! Either way cannot wait.

Have got 5 extra days in Capetown after the conclusion of the tour and plan to do the 4 hour hike up Table Mountain as long as the weather stays well and then also hire a mountain bike and explore the place - they say it is really easy to get around riding! See what happens - they are having the worst winter in 16 years. Kinda weird thinking that I can be in Capetown one minute in 11 degree days and a 8 hour flight I can be in Morocco where it is approx. 36 degrees - Morocco here I come!!!

All is well with me and if you have not written to say hello - DO SO. Really enjoy finding out what is happening back at home! Even though I may not reply as the Internet in this part of the world is ummmm crap.

Just before I sign off - just thought I would leave you with some "WHAT THE's" rove style

All discovered during travels through Nambia!
SALTI-CRAX - Biscuits
SWANKIE LOOK - Shampoo (should be WANKIE LOOK)
THE PUB - Deodorant.

Until next time - catchya
