No I do not want to change my money,
No I do not want to buy a carving,
No I do not want to buy a stone thing and NO you cannot have my hat!!

Hi everyone,

In Old' Vic Falls town!! The people here do hassle a fair bit, but they are really beautiful people. They are just struggling at the moment because of their dollar is not worth the paper it is printed on... 1 USD buys 600 Zim dollars - I eat a whole meal for $3USD

Things are great at the moment, the weather is awesome and I can feel a tan coming on (or sunburn). Currently in Victoria Falls. This is an amazing place and the falls are spectacular. Went down to view them today and unfortunatly there is a heard of buffalo which are getting aggressive so they have closed the gates for the day... So had to go to the Zambia border and look from the 111 metre high bridge.

Am going white water rafting tommorrow and you will be happy to know that they have currently graded the waters as a Rating 5 - one below 'Stupid crazy idiot" rating. Can't wait.

Have been out a number of times and my kidneys are now working overtime to flush them clean - but for 25cent beers and 75cents shooters you cannot go wrong. Have meet the crew that I will be travelling with for the next 5 weeks. 1 girl from Ireland, 1 girl from Holland, two sisters from Canada and a UK brother and sister. 3 crew and I think we are picking someone else up on the way....all seem pretty cool.

Spent Saturday night on a cruise on the Zambezi river and watched the sun set which really does rival those sunsets of Nepal. Hope the photos turn out ok...Have meet heaps of people and believe me there are professional 'Hostellers' out there - people who just hang around hostels drinking and sleeping - not a bad life!

Will try and keep upto date - but not sure how the internet access is going to be in the middle of Botswana.

Talk soon and be safe
