Well, after nearly five months of talk and preparation, we are now just a week away from our highly-anticipated trip to Ireland, Scotland and England.

For now, though, we are still stuck in fabulous StarkVegas getting everything ready.

It has been fun preparing though, for me, it hasn't been the same as usual because I've done very little planning - Vivian's family has done that for the most part. I'm just along for the ride (yeah, right).

But we are very excited. We've done a lot of travelling around the U.S. in our lifetimes, but have only ventured outside the borders twice - the Bahamas on our honeymoon (10 years ago, if you can believe that) and into Vancouver, Canada, for about 4 hours one afternoon during a trip to the NW U.S. in 2001. Actually, make that thrice for Vivian as she went to Mexico once before we were married.

Anyhow, for now we are still based at trip headquarters, eagerly awaiting our departure next Monday!
