Samos, Greece
Things We Did:
Walked along the Harbor in Pythagorio
Strolled up the main street through tourist shops
Checked out the local castle/monastery
Camille, Joey and Keoki found a patch of sand to lay out on
Nick, Mei and I sat down in a beach café for some cool drinks
Had lunch in a restaurant along the water
Food We Ate:
Greek Coffee

People We Met:
Oana- A cocktail server from Romania. I walked by the Explorer's Lounge on my way to check my e-mail when she called me over. Without even asking permission she grabbed my iPod out of my hand and wanted to hear what I was listening to. She asked for Hawaiian music, so I played her "Nohili E". After a few seconds she told me to put on something that didn't put her to sleep, so I played "He Ono".
Bridget- An American nail technician working on the ship. She seemed to have a fetish for local boys, particularly Keoki. She said that on each cruise, she would choose her favorite group of people. This time she chose the crazy Hawaiians.
Stephanie- Russ' younger sister. A serious barfly. As soon as we stepped in to the club, she was on us. She showed us her wounds from the days events (Russ, Dan and her had taken a tumble off of rented mopeds on the isle of Samos), yet she somehow managed to pull out a bubble blower and began blowing bubbles all over us.
Theresa- A massage therapist from the Philippines. A big woman, her hands were strong and experienced. She'd been working with Princess Cruises for 6 years now, and was satisfied with her job. She has a husband and child living in the Philippines. We talked about the Filipino vs. American economy and differences in cultures, and she commented on how, to her surprise, Hawaiians seemed to be very different from typical Americans.
