Melbourne, Australia March 1
Melbourne is an interesting city to explore. The city is abounding in public transportation, with trains and trams carrying all the businesspeople throughout the city and into the suburbs to their homes. However, for the tourist, it is easier to walk around the busy streets to the many different points of interest. On the ground, we are intrigued by the older buildings that are still being used for their original purposes, like the luxurious Windsor Hotel from the late 1800s. St Patricks Cathedral is another imposing figure with its large interior and stained glass windows. From the observation deck of the highest skyscraper in Melbourne, we concentrate more on looking at the modern, tall high rise office and apartment buildings, packed in together along the Yarra River.
