Pa-go-sah: Ute Indian word meaning "healing waters" We begin our week with a soak in the mineral hot springs of the Pagosa Springs Resort. This unique resort boasts 18 mineral pools for soaking in therapeutic water ranging from 97 to 115 degrees. The travertine deposits have formed a beautiful landscape surrounding the pools. It feels like we are sitting among the frozen waterfalls of Yellowstone National Park. We try out many of the different pools for an enjoyable experience. The Springs is the highlight of our week!
