Anyway, I arrived around 7am, and took great pleasure in waking up Meri n Justin from their blissful slumber. It worked out well though, coz it meant we pretty much had a full day to explore the falls.....so after brekky, off we went (along with a German girl staying in my dorm) to Brazil!!!! ACtually, the falls are on both sides of the border (or rather, the river of the falls IS the border), but we went for the Brazilian side first.
To cut a long story short, the falls were absolutely freekn amazing!!!
We had little trouble crossing the border (we only got checked leaving and entering Argentina) and once we made it to the falls, we spent a good 2 hours or so walking around, taking way too many photos. Its easy to see why the falls are considered some of the best in the world. Not that Ive seen the falls at Niagra, but I think its fairly safe to say that if the Iguazu falls were swapped with the Niagra falls in location, then the Iguazu falls would be more famous. Of course, Ill just have to check out the Niagra ones one day to find out for myself!!
The only problem with seeing these falls though is that it pretty much spoils me for waterfalls from here on in. Seriously, neither words or photos can describe how awesome these falls were...........
Surely the Argentinian side of the falls cant be any better than this?
