I am playing a bit of catch up with my travelogue since I did not have internet access this weekend. Paris was wonderful! I did just as I planned, I ate croissants for breakfast, at every patisserie you can get a croissant or a "raisin" (croissant dough that looks like a flat cinnamon roll with cinnamon and raisins swirled in...absolutely to die for!) Thursday night we walked down to the Eiffel Tower and caught it right at sunset, despite the dreary weather it was great! Friday we trekked the city of Paris. We walked and walked and walked! Saturday was my favorite day and my reason for returning to Paris...THE LOUVRE...it was amazing, so much history and art in one place was mind boggeling. The museum is a labrynth with so much it can be a bit overwhelming but once you gain your bearings and decide what you want to see, navigating is much easier. I love the sculptures...as you can see through my pictures. The detail and time invested in each piece simply blows my mind. To think that was once a block of stone...I did see the Mona Lisa, but the crowd around it is always so immense that it is hard to really enjoy the painting.

I wish I could have shared it with so many of you! Paris is the city of love and I would love to share it with those I love! I hope you enjoy the pics! Email me!!!!!

Love you all,
