We have spent two very nice days in Prague. The first day was composed of a lot of walking, touring the historical and beautiful sites and architecture. First we had breakfast, which was free at our hotel (score!), and headed to the Prague Castle. The Prague Castle is the largest castle in the world. Inside the walls of the castle, there is the amazing St. Vidus Cathedral. We spent a couple hours walking around inside the gates of the castle, taking pictures and whatnot, and visiting the lovely torture chambers, that there were way too many of for one castle. We then visited the torture chamber gift shop in the castle, where one could purchase a wide array of infidel poking, stretching, and branding devices from a creepy looking castle-gift-shop man with only one giant tooth in the middle of his gums. We bought nothing....  We then headed to the Charles IV Bridge, built in 1357, located in the middle of town and walked over it, looking at the river and the various gift shops on the bridge. We had a couple of beers that night in town, watched a little bit of soccer in a sports bar and then headed back to the hotel.
Today we had more of a mellow day. We took the Underground across town and did some laundry and took in some more sights that the city had to offer. The architecture here is amazing! However, the laundry prices are not! After we paid 20 Euro to do 2 loads of laundry in a regular laundromat, we felt that we had been robbed of enough of our money to head back to our hotel get some dinner and call it a day. Tomorrow we get up early and catch the Eurorail to Munich, Germany, the beer capital of the world. That should be fun!
