I just had to add a quick entry about a a party Paola had at he place on Friday. A friend of her son, Marco, raises Ostriches (Struzzi) and gave an egg to her. Now I don't know if any of you have seen such a thing, but they're huge (apparently they hold the equivalent of 24 regular eggs). So anyway, the gift of this egg prompted the party, which involved a variety of frittatas being cooked using the egg, along with various regional foods such as piadinas and so forth. I've captured with some photos and a short video of Valiero, (husband to Mariela, a friend of Paola) as he flipped the frittatas and I also took some pictures of the gathering in general.
