We wake up very early as always, to have a quiet walk near the hotel, we get into a vegetables market, and see how the people make their businesses. It starts raining, so we go back for some breakfast, and then we go to the first visit: The 1000 peaks forest. It is a zone with so many hills, it seems they never end. They are sorrounded by rice fields, and the visit is quite nice, except for the little rain. We ride a little tourist train with a chinese group, and the guide gives lots of explanations in chinese, so we just enjoy the views and the smell of blooming rice plants.
After that, we go to Malin Gorge, a beautiful gorge with cliffs of more than 100 meters high and many waterfalls feeding Maling river. It's a fairytale landscape. We get a long walk by the riverside, and enter some of the natural caves in the cliff. We get completely soaked again, but it is worth it. From down the river up the cliffs, they have installed a huge lift that breaks completely with the landscape, should have been forbidden. It's time to lunch, and today we also enjoy a very good meal.
Today we will sleep at Anshun, so we have to drive for more than 4 hours again in the same kind of roads than yesterday. So painful for our backs, but nice views of the rural life in China.
We arrive in Anshun, check in at the hotel and got to have some supper before having a great rest.
