I am in Toronto for the time being. This I've known since I got back. At first it was the summer, then five months, and then two years. Two and a half, at most. Although I am still here, somehow I'm determined to leave.

It's not because I don't love Toronto, because it's a wonderful city. It's not because I don't love my career, because saving the world is pretty fun, actually. It's not because I don't love my family and friends, because they're everything to me.

At least part of it is that much of that stuff will always be here for me when I get back. And there's so much else to experience. I'm just not done yet. And maybe I won't ever be.

On Sunday all other destinations washed away, and France was left staring me in the face.

Yet when Ana comes home for a weekend (why is it that so many of my friends do trans-continental weekends?) and talks about Egypt, even the tales of woe make me want to move there. Right now.

I'm still pretty sure it'll be France, but I'm glad I have a while to decide.

I'm also very glad that I have the opportunities I have, and the knowledge that I can, and will, do whatever I want.
