I want to see Emma, I want to see Emma. Snowboarding, snowboarding, snowboarding.
I keep telling myself I'm excited about these things. And I am. Super excited. If you knew me 5 years ago you wouldn't have ever imagined that one December Friday evening in 2004, I'd be doing a dancy walk down the street by myself because it's cold out. That's right. Not even because there's snow - we've had flurries but they seem to quickly disappear. Not even because there's snow further north so i'm goinna try to get on my board tomorrow. That's right. I'm really excited because it's cold and I get to dress up in warm jackets and mittens and feel _winter_ coming.
How bizarre is that? And so very unlike me.
That all said, I want to be going to Mexico for Christmas. It'd be nice for my new sister in law's sister if I were to be in Cancun for Christmas. She can't be home because she came back for the wedding last month. But really I want to be speaking Spanish. I want to be on a beach. I want to be hanging out in hostels. I want to have no idea what I'm doing tomorrow. If only for two weeks.
But I want to see Emma. And Calgary Jen, who I should be able to spend an evening with between family and Quebec. And Korea Jen, for that matter. It's all good. I've been dying to snowboard for nearly two years. It's the first time I have an entire week to do it. I am excited. I just wish it was Mexico for a week, and then boarding and Emma for a week :)
