Where I stayed

Flag of Denmark  , Jutland,
Saturday, August 13, 2011

Bredal Kro is a comfortable place to stay, but very expensive. That said the dinner was VERY good, but VERY expensive.

We went to see the Jelling Stones, some very old stones from 1000 years ago. But as they are weathering they have wrapped them up in preperation for protecting them.

The church is built next to two old burial mounds and is considered to be the birth place of Christianity in Denmark.
The church is very old, but has been modernised on the inside, this I think ruined it.

We visited Bea's old school friend who she has not seen for 20 odd years, very nice morning tea and lunch before a dtip down the road to Båring to visit some other friends.

All in all a good day, but not much on the activity side of things.
