The children continue to enjoy school, even though the terms seem to go on for ever. They are eager to jump out of bed in the morning and curl up on the sofa to watch TV before the routine of getting ready for school. They run enthusiastically down the boardwalk to the car and are full of excitement after the short drive to school, desperate to get to their classrooms and friends
Weekends have involved socialising with new friends, netball matches at the Trust Stadium, exploring the Waitakeres and enjoying day to day life living in New Zealand.
Of course, we still have our ups and downs. Life here is good but is still not particularly settled and we are still working hard at creating a new support network. Both of us are finding it difficult starting again professionally and are impatient to be established in our fields. Something which will only happen over time. We often chat about where we think we will be in two years, five years, ten years..............................and we really don't know. At the moment it is a case of enjoying this new life and seeing where experiences take us.
