Our group spent the day travelling from Fertilia/Alghero to Castelsardo, stopping by Capocaccia to visit Grotto di Neptune.
Neptune's grotto was this amazing area of limestone caves - 2km in total, of which only 800m were accessible to the public. These caves have been around as long as humans had inhabited the island, and have only been accessible by foot in the last 40-50 years.
