This hostel has us in a 7 bedroom dorm. We had great roommates last night, but all departed today for a new location.
Yesterday, we walked around the Prague castle that looks down on the city for about 2 hours. It is the largest castle in Europe. We had some incredible views and pictures. On the walk back, we stopped for a few cheap beers and had dinner at a Czech restaurant. Food was great, service was terrible
Last night, Czech Republic beat Russia to win the Ice Hockey World Cup. Who knew? They projected the game onto a big screen in the famous square in the city. It was complete mayhem after the game....broken glass, chanting crazed fans into the wee hours of the morning. Jonas has some excellent pictures of this that he will surely post. Never seen anything like it in the states.
Today, we took the free walking tour of Prague and learned a lot. It was the same company we used in Berlin. Afterward, Jonas took a tour of the castle and I went to the hockey parade in Old Town square. I also got us some symphony tickets for tonight! Hell yeah!
Weather has been great here...we have worn shorts both days. Unfortunately, we ran into a little bit of rain today.
Jonas requested a pull up bar and ab machine here at the hostel; however, they were unable to accommodate his request. Stay tuned for pictures from Prague.
