Where I stayed
They left me a sweet letter about them visiting the the war cemetery for the ozzy and kiwi fallen soldiers in Vietnam I had no idea he had been an airman during the conflict and lost some close friends there.
The town has given me many interesting sights and I can whole heartily recommend coming here if you get to Malaysia, I have managed to rest as the travelling really does takes its toll, the good thing is I have totally adapted to the heat and have done the round town open top bus in the midday sun :) mad dogs and Englishmen ehh
Tonight I am going back to The Tandoori Puk Parak its the only place in town for the best food and open air on the side road to the rear of the hotel, plastic chairs and a brick tandoori oven blasting out the best chicken I have ever tasted.
It has won many awards and you can forget michelin stars and all that crap the locals love it and so do I and for about £5 you come away stuffed and satisfied, going to miss the genuine Malay people the most.
Going home to pack and say goodbye to my hosts over the last 5 days and head for Singapore tomorrow and think of my Trip to Cambodia, cant wait to see Ankor Wat and also the grim killing fields of Phnom Penn.
Goodbye Malaysia for now as it seems inevitable I will return some day.
