Antalya

We made a quick overnight stop in Antalya in order to make a bus connection. The city has over 700,000 people and is probably one of the more liberal cities in Turkey. Spaghetti-strap tops seemed to replace the head scarf here. As we travel about to different areas of the country we are visually reminded at how varied the culture of Turkey is. If you tried to stereotype the Turk, I suppose you'd be making the same mistake as anywhere else in the world - it isn't easily done.
It was just a quick stop and this is just a quick entry with just a few pictures. We stayed in a great little place (the best so far) and just passed the evening walking the old part of the city and enjoying the coastal views.
Enjoy! Jon and Liz More thumbnails ...

Hi kids,
What a great way to travel the world and see the sights, and it doesn't cost me a cent. I can't wait to see where WE are going next year. Have fun, take care (and lots of pictures).
Love ya,
