We arrived OK after a comfortable and uneventful fight. We had to change planes at Paris and it was a real hassel. We ried to follow Chris' instructions, but when the plane landed (it was a very large AirBus) no such luck. It did not pull up to a standard ramp. They wheeled up a set of stairs and we had to descend to the tarmack. From there they herded us into a bus which took us OUT of the secure area so we had to pass through all the security checks again and we almost missed the plane to Hamburg. Oh well, first bump in the road is now behind us. Right now we are visiting with Barbara and Erik and trying to get over the jet lag. Today is a rest day. Norderstedt is a small community near Hamburg and very beautiful. We will write more later.
Hi John ... Surprised to hear from you ... didn't remember exact date you were leaving ... sounds like you will have a wonderful, fun-filled trip ... relax and have a great time and don't worry about anything!
