For our final two days in Ventura we did the usual......lay on the beach and enjoyed the scenery before having to return to "beautiful" Glasgae. Our final two days weather wasnt very sunny but it was warm enough to still enjoy Ventura. Oh and there was no fights between us and the Germans at breakfast. The Germans seem to have left the building! Shame because I had a coissant waiting to be flung at his heed.  For our final night we had a bbq in the park. The disposible bbqs in America are pretty poor so we went through 2 packs of matches, alot of random branches and some paper as we used our girl guiding skills to keep the fire alight. The sausages were brilliant,im sure the seaguls will agree as they flew off with one of our delicious herby sausages!! cheeky!
So holiday over it was off to the airport! As we were waiting to board the flight and hanging around I felt someone brush quickly past me, looking up I noticed it was only Emeli Sande!  For anyone who doesnt know Emeli Sande is a british singer song writer who is pretty big here at the moment since she's been involved in the olympics and brits! As anyone who knows me I love everything celeb and most of all a good Z-A list celeb spot so I was on in my element as I'm an Emeli fan. She was first on the plane as she was first class. Anyways 2 minutes later it was our shot to go on the plane. Since were with the kids we board with buisness class. As were showing our boarding cards I looked to the left of me and there was Leona Lewis boarding beside me (you all surely know leona). Leona was only buisness class I say only because being one of the ritchest female singers in Britain I did think oooor Leona would be flying 1st class with the likes of Emeli Sande. I am a Leona fan having (ill admit) voting for her when she was on the Xfactor so I was completely loving every moment of boarding behind her. I think I was literally standing staring at her.. watching her  unpack her bag and get comfortable in her buisness class seat!haha. She was on her own,no security and to be honest seemed to be keeping her head down away from everyone. No onelse seemed to notice as she boarded so quickly. The spanish granny who was sat in the buisness seat facing her didnt have a clue who she was sitting next to! haha no buisness class for us unfortunately as we headed to economy. Bye Leona...I was tempted to walk through to buisness just to have a swatch at one of my fav singers hahaha but i resisted. The flight was smooth and I was prettty lucky since I had a fire exit seat so I had extra legroom!

Now were home, jetlagged and back in the rain. The holiday was brilliant and although we had to deal with the news of Gramps while we were away we did our best to still have the time of our lives! My first experience of the USA was amazing and its defenitely somewhere I could live. The people are lovely, the weathers lovely and the scenery, towns and shops are beaut. It's like two different worlds home and there. I hope my next americano experience will be New York New York as it's next on my list of things to do. Whither its now or in 10years ill be back! haha! We started the holiday with a negative z list celeb spot in sophie anderton at heathrow....upped it to jeremey clarkson cycling on venice beach, then possibly spotted pink in LA. We flew home with Emeli sande and Leona Lewis and topped it off by brushing past the one and only Goldie on an escalator in Heathrow on the way home. Therefore it's fair to say we were successful on the celeb spotting front!
The baths are tiny, the food delicious, the people babes and the money is silly. The fat lady has just sang and Claaaaaaali baby 2012 is over!! Sad faces. Thanks to everyone who was reading and hopefully mini momo will be doing many more super dooper trips in the future!!!
Love love love y'all Xxxxxxxx
