Riding through New Brunswick, on my way from St. Stephen to Halifax, I started to feel queasy and sweaty.  I'm enjoying the scenery very much even though the weather is cold and dreary.  However, I begin thinking I'm not going to make it much farther because as the kilometers go by I start to feel worse and worse.

Just outside of St. John, NB, I get desperate.  I'm having what I would call an unscheduled, unexpected gastronomical event (UUGE) and I am not enjoying my ride at all.  I pull off into the town but it is still early and few places are open.  I find the standard Tim Horton's in town and pull into the parking lot.  I go in, order some tea and sit quietly at a table, sipping my tea and wondering if what I'm feeling will pass.

After a few minutes I realize that what I'm feeling won't pass and I make tracks for the restroom.  I guess the sketchy lobster roll in Calais, the only thing I've eaten in the last 12-15 hours got the best of me.  Note to self: no more lobster rolls!

I go back to my tea for a bit.  I feel slightly better, not great but enough to continue.  I figure I can go slow and still make Halifax on time.  On my way out of St. John I stop at a drugstore and get some antacid and other gastric-upset pills just in case.
