When asked what he was looking forward to before we left for this trip, Will would always say smelling chocolate in the air in Hershey Pennsylvania. We awoke Friday morning at another Wal*Mart outside Hershey to cloudy skies and rain. It is a little difficult to smell chocolate in the rain, but we still had hope we would smell it.
We started the day at a band competition at a local high school in which Susan's nephew Jadon was competing. It was good for our kids to see him play and experience the different bands. Living away from family means they often miss these events in their cousin's lives. Jadon did a great job playing the trumpet with his band.
From there we set off to Chocolate World. We know it is not very historic, but chocolate is very important and we could not be so close and miss it
There also were some outlet shops near by so Susan and Madison spent some time shopping while the boys played on the playground and rested. After eating dinner in the parking lot, we set off back to Susan's sister's house.

Need we say more?
. We did get a brief smell of chocolate in the air even through the wind and rain. It was a very fun place for the kids. Of course, it is all geared to get you to buy chocolate. After the movie and ride you end up in the very large gift store that sells all the chocolate stuff you could ever want. The only thing we bought was two mochas (that were actually horrible, watery chocolate drinks that tasted slightly like coffee). We finished up in two hours (that is how much free parking we had) and then parked for a nice lunch and rest.
