One might think that taking a RV in major cities would be difficult.  It's rather easy when you start to see all the special parking for RV/Buses at many tourist spots.  Most people want to pass you so driving is quite easy as the road ahead is mostly clear.  DC proved to be a bit of a challenge as most parking is only 2 hours long but we read on the internet that Ohio street had all day parking.  When we found Ohio street we knew that we were at the right spot because all the RV's and buses were parked there.  There seems to be a flocking instinct whith RV and buses where to park. Whenever we pull in to park you are drawn towards the other RV's.
Our first day in DC was spent outside in the great weather visiting at all the monuments. I think we all felt more appreciation for those famous presidents and not so famous military people who made this country a wonderful place to live.
We saw a helicopter land on the White house lawn and take off but we don't know if the president was in it or not.  There sure were a lot of escorted limos for some big wigs. I don't know but maybe it's me (TJ) but I would kind of like to drive around the block in the RV with one of those escorts just to see how people would react.
