We left at 7:05am instead of 6:30am so we were 35 minutes late, not bad for a 3 month trip, it's usually an hour for us.  It seemed like we saw most of my extended family in one day.  A brief stop in Hermiston for breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma Johnson and Uncle Roy.  Then picked up Uncle Johnny and dropped him off in Pendleton where we meet up with Grandma and Grandpa Christensen for a brief visit. It was very nice to stop off in Mountain Home, Idaho and see Curt and Carol Ann Vial, high school buddies of mine.  It's hard to catch up on so many years with only a few minutes, but we enjoyed the visit Vials!  Then a late arrival in Jerome, Idaho where we boon-docked in my Uncle Paul and Debbie's back yard.

As new RV owners there is a learning curve from just about everything from terminology to driving etiquette.  Our good friends, Chad and Leslie taught us that people call their RV, motor coaches Playing with Uncle Johnny

.  So trying to fit in I started to call ours a motor coach only to find out that we don't have a motor coach.  You see there are Class A RV's and Class C RV's.  We have a class C, class C's are not motor coaches. Someday I want to be just like Chad and Leslie and be able to call my rig a motor coach. :-)

Driving has been so easy for me so far because Susan has done most of it.  Once in a while I yell to the front and ask here to keep the bumps to minimum while I relaxing in the back bed but all in all I think I'm going to like driving the RV.  :-)
