So........ I made it to Cambodia! More on that later. Here is my recently updated travel plans for the next 12 months! So far on this journey I have traveled through: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Laos > and here I am today in Cambodia. From here its off to > Vietnam (Sep -ish) China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Mongolia (Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan -ish)

Here is where it gets tricky. It all depends on the Iran visa situation. If I can get the visa for Iran here is a possibility of my route.
Option 1: Pakistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia,Turkey(Jan, Feb, Mar, April -ish)

If I cannot get the visa for Iran.
Option 2: Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine(Jan, Feb, Mar, April -ish)

Then I meet Sexy Kat, The Captain, and the Sanchezs(my family) for Euro Trip 07!
Italy, Spain, France, England (May)

USA for 6 - 8 weeks (June, July)

I am looking at moving to Bogota, Colombia for 6 months to practice Spanish (July - ?)

Top 5 reasons I want to go to Iran:
1. It is one of the most exotic/foreign/interesting countries in the world.
2. I like persian cats!
3. I want to see Noah's Arc.
4. I enjoy being around and learning about Muslim culture.
5. It is part of my "axis of evil" world tour. It will give me 3 of the 6! I already have Cuba and Syria!

Very nice series on Laos. People respond to you quite well. Go and get the 50mm f.18 (RM300). The the quality and DOF of your photos do get better.

Visa to Iran
DJ John, so I have been doing a little investigative work on my end and given that LA is like 'Little Persia,' I think I might possibly be able to help you. I have infiltrated the Persian scene here in LA, and I think I might have found someone who could help you procure an Iranian Visa. Which embassy would you be getting it from? The Iranian embassy in Pakistan? Let me know which embassy, and I'll see what I can do on my end. I hope all is well with you. Take care of yourself and watch your cornhole.
