LAOS(Indochina)!!!!!!!!!!!
I made it........... I am writing this from a small Internet cafe in the lovely jungle town of Luang Prabang. It was a really long/relaxed 2 day boat journey down the Mekong river to get here from Northen Thailand. I am in the central part of Northern Laos, halfway between the borders of Thailand,Vietnam,Burma & China. This area is known as the "Golden Triangle." It is where most of the worlds supply of Opium comes from. The town is super laid back with an interesting mixture of Buddhist and French architecture

. It is a nice place to hang a few days and get a feel for Laos.
Laos also marks the half way point of my SE Asia journey. HALFTIME! The book is now closed on Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand. I plan on spending the next 2 months between Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam before making the big leap into China!
I really just wanted to write this entry to post pics. I will write more about Laos when I get a feel for the place. I wanted to take some time to put some images and faces to all my stories. The pics are best viewed as a slide show. I hope you enjoy!

The sudden motion made me skip now we're into a brand knew trip
