This is so odd! I am sitting in an Internet cafe in Northern Thailand and they are playing instrumental Christmas music. I am not sure what month it is wherever you are reading this but it is August here??? Since they are Buddhist and do not celebrate Christmas they probably have no idea that they are even playing the instrumental version of "O Silent Night." They probably just think its another one of those thight azz "Kenny G." jams!

I plan on making my way towards the Laos border in the morning. It should take me 2 days aboard a boat on the Mekong river to make my way into Laos. So "hasta la vista" Thailand!
