Shiver Me Timbers!.................... Yesterday I pulled of a 5 hour "Pirates of the Caribbean" marathon!- I watched the first one on DVD then made the midnight Malaysian premiere of "Dead Man's Cheast!"

I often compare myself to a "modern day pirate?" When I actually put some thought into it we do not really have that much in common? I am a landlubber opposed to violence and I think stealing is wrong (unless its from Walmart!) But I guess we are united in our lack of personal hygiene, love of Keira Knightly, admiration for grog! Above all we are united in our constant pursuit of "Booty"


Here is a list of "Pirate Lingo" for ya!
Aye: yes
Booty: stolen treasure
Davy Jones: sailor slang for the evil spirits that live in the sea
Davy Jones Locker: the ocean floor
Grog: rum mixed with water
Jolly Roger: the skull and crossbones flag used by pirates
Landlubber: someone who doesn't like going to sea/non-seafaring folk

Honor Among Theives - Johnny Nomad

I just bought a ticket to see the Black Eyed Peas/Furgie's "lady lumps" in Bangkok on the 31st of July. So I have a 19 days to make my way back to Bangkok. I am heading North to Kuala Lumpa (the capitol of Malaysia)in a few hours.
