I just got word that a college acquaintance of mine died a few days ago. He was the manager of a college bar that me and my friends were regulars at. He died of heart complications after being STRUCK BY LIGHTNING! How crazy is that! That puts a new spin to you can go at any time! After reading the newspaper articles about the incident it made me kind of sad. He was 30 years old and all the newspaper had to say about his "life" was that he worked at a local bar and loved sports. It made me think about if I died tomorrow what would my obituary say? People all the time tell me not to say this, but I do not see myself living to an old age. I dig old fellows but I do not think its in my destiny to be one of them? So that is why I am living my life "NOW!" So many people live there entire lives preparing for the future and forget about the moment. Needless to say that my life is very nonconventional but I have been lucky enough to have spent the last 30 months spending everyday single day doing exactly what I want to do! I am not a slave to a job I hate, pilled up credit card bills, a car I cannot afford, any other person other then my mummy, etc..... I have said this before but I think my biggest fear in life is that of being average. I am not naive enough to believe that I am going to become president or change the world but I think I am here for some other purpose then just to be part of the machine.
Top 3 ways that I would like to die in no particular order:
*Wrestling a polar bear to my death while saving a group of lost Canadian orphans.
*A 10 pace Cowboy style "turn and shot dual" over the love/honor of a woman.
*Of exhaustion in the great state of TX while having my "hand on a hard body"

A list of things I want my obituary to read that Johnny Nomad was a:
Dreamer, Travler, Observor of Life, International Man of Mystery, Nasty Dancer, Circumnavigator, Modern Day Pirate, and last but not least if I have anything to say about it "Former High School Bad-Ass!"
I also promised myself that I would never start a Cult and or World Relgion!
So if you ever meet up with me and I am handing out glasses of Kool Aid -DO NOT DRINK IT!
"Confusion never stops, closing walls and ticking clocks." -ColdPlay
I came into this world with a breath & a scream and Damit.......that is the why I plan on going out! -Johnny Nomad
