. Many of the pics come from an anti-war rally (Iraq.) It was part of an international event that took place all over the world that day including Washington DC. Like MOST of the world Syria is opposed to the war. I disagree with flag burning but thought the pics were worthy of being shared! I travel the world to experience the realities of it and I try my best to share that with everyone who reads my writing. All the Syrians I meet made a point to share with me that with everyone who reads my journals. All the Syrians (Arabs) I meet along my journey went out of there way to make me feel welcome and show me that they have absolutely no problem with the American people they just oppose the current American government! I hope everyone is able to enjoy the pics and see then as people passionately being opposed to a war a few hundred miles away and not as a direct insult or threat to the American people. ....... All for now! With the risk of being cheesy I want let everyone knows that I am proud to be and American and I am very grateful for everything and every opportunity that the country has given me. I will leave you all with a quote.

A great big old Hello to all! As I promised here are some more pics from my past journey to the Middle East. Uploading pics to this site is painfully slow. It took me over 7 hours to upload these 34 pics. I was pulling my hair out towards the end. Wait a sec? I just landed a part time job working at a used record store and with my sisters upcoming wedding I have been keeping busy. I am going to keep it short. But before I go I wanted to share a little about the pics. They are from my recent trip to Syria. I have been debating with myself if I was going to post some of these pics. I do not want my pics to be misunderstood. I decided to share the pics with everyone because I think they are great pics capturing the true emotion and passion of these beautiful people. Of all the countries I have visited over the last 2 plus years Syria is hands down my favorite! I have said this before but I will say it again Syrians and Arabs are the most warming, loving, friendly, charming people I have ever meet
