It is all coming to an end! In 2 days I will close the book on this chapter of my journey. Hard to believe it has already been 10 weeks on the road. Puerto Escondido has been a fun (wild) ending to an interesting journey. My trip has had many highlights but as a whole did not live up to my expectations. I am not sure if I had too high expectations, maybe I have been traveling for so long that I am getting jaded, but the one thing I do know is ĻI expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this. That John Denver's full of shit, man!
I spend the night on a bus tonight making my way to Oaxaca. I will spend one day before there before my flight home. So in less then 35 hours I will be heading back home. I am looking forward to my 2 month visit to the "Chocolate city." Like always going home after a long trip has its familiar ness and its uncertainties alike. Lots of fun things planned. Hopefully my experiences over the last few months have changed me in some way or another? I guess its all part of the journey. "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" - Mahatma Ghandi. I am looking into getting a new set of turntables and getting back into Djing for a bit. I am also looking into a trip down to West coast (LA) to visit some friends (sorry mom I forgot to mention that?)............ So the road goes on forever and the adventure continues! If anyone makes there way down to NOLA for a visit I have a Cuban cigar waiting for yaw.
A friend of mine sends out these group emails to all his friends. In all honesty my biggest fear in live is being average. In his last email he included this quote. It made me think. So I will leave you with it!
