I still don't know how to say hi in Czech!

Today we took a 3 hour tour of Prague. Half of it was on a minibus and the other half by foot. This city is incredible, and so different to the cities in Italy. The city is covered in a cold haze (5 degrees!) that only adds to the atmosphere. The city was formed from four different smaller towns that grew together and the tour guide had a very good knowledge of all the history. The highlights of the tour were the Prague Castle (the biggest castle in the world) and the old town square which houses the famous Astronomical Clock. This clock still runs on the original 16th century mechanisms and is surrounded with wooden characters which move their arms and legs when the bells ring every hour. Pretty amazing considering how old it is! Our tour included climbing the clock tower which gave us some good panoramic views of the city.

After the tour we had a meal of traditional Czech goulash and mixed dumplings. Awesome yet again!

Finally, we picked up our baggage and headed for this internet cafe to kill some time before the next train. I'll leave the destination for the next blog entry. I'm sure the suspense is killing you... not :)
