We awoke early this morning after a late night last night and finished som pending work. Merrie and I drove to PHX for the 8:52 am flight from Phoenix to LAX. I got busy with the curbside check-in and missed seeing Merrie drive away. I'll just have to wait to see her drive up to meet me upon our return flight home. After a sandwich and bowl of soup at Paradise Bakery, we boarded a US Airways jet to LAX. The flight was smooth except for an encouter with a previous plane's wingtip vortex as we passed over Ontario airport which momentarily rocked the plane heavily. We passed close to Pasadena where the Rose Bowl and AC Campus could be seen in the distance. We changed terminals in LA to board China Eastern Airlines flight.
