We got to Ulawatu in one piece anyway, Tamsin had her legs covered this time so they let her in as well
Anyway, we nmade our way to the temple grounds, surrounded by more monkeys. The Temple was built in the 11th Century and is still in occasional use. The temple is built on a high cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. It was very beautiful although the temple itself is quite plain. Any dissapointment in the lack of carvings was made up for by the sea views and the Monkey shenanigans.
After the Temple we headed to Jimbaran Bay, a huge beach that was the site of a terrorist attack last October. We were dropped of at a seafood resteraunt on the beach and shown to a table which had stunning views of the bay. The deal at the resteraunt was that we habndpicked some fish and condemed them to death by fire (BBQ). We chose a lovely Snapper and a little crab. When it arrived at our table it came with a full compliment of Veg and rice. The crab was a bit crap to be honest as there was no meat on it! THe Snapper however was absolutely gorgeousIt was a god sized fish so we both stuffed ourselves silly and drank some more Bintang. The whole meal (which also included fruit salad and a soup starter) came to 195,000 which is about 11 quid! as we ate our food the sun ste beautifully and to top off an already romantic day, a five man band came and serenaded us as we drank beer.
